description
CLIP PROFILE FOR A WINDOW BANK AND WINDOW BANK CLOSURE
The invention relates to a clamping profile for a windowsill and a window sill end for laterally closing a windowsill.
For lateral limiting a windowsill end strips are known, which are attached to the opposite end faces of a windowsill. The end strips or end profiles form on the one hand an optical completion of the windowsill and on the other hand, a limitation of the water-bearing surface of the windowsill.
In order to avoid structural damage to the adjacent structure, window sills, especially if they are made of metal, are usually mechanically decoupled from the building. For this purpose, for example, so-called Gleitabschlüsse are known. At one longitudinal end of a sill a clamping profile is mounted, which is floating against the Gleitabschluss (cover profile) is mounted. This floating or sliding bearing ensures that thermally induced expansions of the sill are not transferred to the structure, so that these movements do not lead to cracks in the building.
A sill sliding closure of the above type is described for example in DE 20 2004 019 812 U1.
The invention has for its object to provide a clamping profile for a windowsill and a window sill, which are inexpensive to manufacture and reliable mountable.
The object is achieved by a clamping profile with the features of claim 1 and a sill with the features of claim 10 Preferred embodiments of the invention are set forth in the dependent claims.
The clamping profile according to the invention for a windowsill comprises a profile body having a first clamping gap for receiving a sill and a second nip for slidably receiving a profile body at least partially covering cover profile. The profile body has a base region made of a first plastic material and at least two opposing centering lips of a second plastic material for engagement with the cover profile. Preferably, the profile body is designed as an extruded, in particular co-extruded, profile.
The window sill of the invention for lateral closure of a sill includes a clamping profile according to the invention and a cover, which at least partially covers the clamping profile and is slidably mounted in the second nip.
A first basic idea of the invention can be seen in the fact that the clamping profile is not made from a single material but from at least two different materials. The base region of the profile body is preferably formed from hard plastic. The centering lips, or -nasen, are preferably formed of a softer and / or more elastic plastic. The centering lips are adapted to bear against opposite inner surfaces of the cover profile, so that the cover profile can be arranged in a simple manner in a centered basic position on the clamping profile or the profile body. At the same time, the resilient or elastic centering lips allow a relative movement of the cover profile relative to the clamping profile, in particular in a transverse direction, for example in the case of thermal expansion or contraction of the window sill. The preparation of the base region made of hard plastic in this case allows a particularly cost-effective design of the clamping profile.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the clamping profile in addition to the first profile body on a second profile body, which is connectable to the first profile body and having a third clamping gap for receiving a rear Aufkantbereichs the windowsill. The second profile body is preferably formed of the same material as the base region of the first profile body. Preferably, the second profile body made of hard plastic. The first profile body and the second profile body are preferably positively connected to each other or connected. The second profile body preferably has no softer or more elastic components and preferably consists of a single plastic. The rearward Aufkantbereich the window sill is in particular at the rear of the windowsill upwardly projecting section.
Preferably, the second profile body is designed as an injection molded part. This allows a cost-effective production.
In a further preferred embodiment it is provided that the first nip and / or the second nip and / or the third nip is limited by a clamping element, which is suitable for clamping different thicknesses of the sill or cover profile. The corresponding clamping element is preferably formed of the same material as the base region of the profile body. Base part and clamping element thus preferably form a one-piece, material-identical profile section. To clamp different thicknesses or material thicknesses in the respective clamping gap, the respective clamping element can be designed, for example, with a material thickness which, despite its design made of hard plastic, enables a slight bending of the clamping element. It is particularly preferred that the clamping element has a defined bending region, wherein the bending region is preferably a portion of the clamping element with a lower material thickness or thickness.
Through this thin-walled portion, or the overall thin-walled clamping element, a kind of spring is formed, which clamps the cover or the sill.
In a particularly preferred embodiment it is provided that the second clamping element, which limits the second clamping gap, for securing the position of the cover profile has a slot. The second clamping element may in this case in particular have two separate clamping parts or consist of two separate clamping parts. The two clamping parts can spring independently, so that a position assurance can be realized by a corresponding recess or a locking element on the cover. The cover is then secured against unintentional removal in the longitudinal direction.
For a secure centering of the cover profile on the clamping profile, it is preferred that at least two centering lips are arranged on one of the windowsill facing away from the profile rear wall of the profile body. The centering lips are preferably located above the first clamping gap for receiving the window sill, in particular on a vertical or standing outer surface of the profile rear wall. The centering lips are preferably the same design and in particular aligned the same.
Another centering lip is preferably located on one of the windowsill front end of a particular horizontal profile web of the profile body. Preferably, the base portion of the profile body on an L-shaped portion which forms the profile rear wall and the horizontal profile web. In this way, a free space above the profile web and the side of the profile rear wall, for example, for receiving the lower end of a roller shutter rail. The centering lip facing the window sill or front side improves the centering, in particular if the opposing centering lips are made substantially the same and exert the same, opposing, clamping force.
In a particularly preferred embodiment it is provided that the centering lips between a neutral position in which they protrude from the base region of the profile body, and a clamping position in which they rest against the base region of the profile body, adjustable, in particular deformable, are. This makes it possible to center the cover profile relative to the clamping profile by the opposite centering lips rest respectively on the cover. On the other hand, a lateral displacement of the cover profile relative to the clamping profile is made possible by the respective foldability of the centering lips, in particular in both directions (towards the windowsill and away from the windowsill). The centering lips are preferably designed as flexible webs, whose longitudinal edge is extruded onto the base area or coextruded therewith. The connection of the longitudinal edge of the centering lip with the base region of the profile body allows a particularly flexible movement, preferably up to an at least partial abutment of the distal end of the centering lip on the base region.
Good lateral movement of the cover relative to the clamping profile is made possible by the fact that the centering lips are aligned in the neutral position along an inclined plane. The centering lips preferably extend obliquely downwards starting from the base region of the profile body. The opposite centering lips are preferably mirror-symmetrically aligned with each other. Under the neutral position, in particular, a state of the centering lips understood in which they are not subjected to force by another element or bent.
With regard to the Fensterbankabschlusses invention, the advantages described in connection with the clamping profile are achieved in a corresponding manner. The clamping profile can be attached to the sill and thus connect by a clamping action largely immovable with this. The covering profile (sliding profile) is mounted displaceably in the transverse direction on the clamping profile and can be positioned relative to the clamping profile by the opposing centering lips during assembly in a predetermined centering position.
A further aspect of the invention may be seen to provide on the clamping profile a Wasserableitrinne or surface for a defined discharge of water to cause a liquid discharge in a predefined direction, in particular along the clamping profile. In this way, if necessary, penetrating water is selectively discharged into the interior of the cover profile, in particular in such a way that it does not penetrate into the adjacent structure. The water drainage surface is arranged between two upright, in particular vertical, profile walls, so that liquid is reliably discharged to the front side of the window sill.
The cover (sliding) is usually attached to the adjacent structure, plastered, for example, in the masonry of the adjacent structure. The clamping profile clamps the sill and moves, for example, in a thermally induced expansion of the sill, along with this relative to the cover profile. The cover profile comprises a web, which can be inserted into the second clamping gap of the clamping profile and clamped or clamped there.
For a secure centering of the cover profile relative to the clamping profile, the clamping profile on opposite outer sides (front and back) of the profile body in each case at least one centering lip. The centering lips are each supported on an inner surface of the cover profile. The centering lips allow the cover profile to be centered, in particular in the transverse direction, relative to the clamping profile.
By providing at least two centering lips on a rear side facing away from the window sill, the cover profile can be reliably aligned during assembly with respect to its angular position. The rear centering lips in particular cause the cover profile in a defined plane, in particular parallel to the sill, slidably mounted on the clamping profile.
The cover is preferably made of metal, in particular aluminum, formed, in principle, other materials, such as plastic, are possible. The inner profile is preferably made of different plastics. Preferably, the base region is formed of ABS. The centering lips are preferably formed of a softer plastic, in particular EPDM or TPE.
The invention will be further described with reference to preferred embodiments, which are shown schematically in the accompanying figures. In the figures: FIG. 1 shows a clamping profile according to the invention mounted on a window sill; FIG. 2 shows a window sill closure according to the invention mounted on a window sill; Figure 3 is a perspective view of a clamping profile according to the invention; Figure 4 is a perspective view of a second profile body of the clamping profile according to the invention; Figure 5 is a cross-sectional view of a mounted sill finisher with clamp profile in a neutral (centered) position; FIG. 6 a window sill closure with clamping profile in a first clamping position; FIG. 7 a window sill closure with clamping profile in a second clamping position; and FIG. 8 shows a mounted window sill closure with a safeguard against unintentional release of the cover profile.
Identical or equivalent elements are indicated in all figures with the same reference numerals.
Fig. 1 shows a commercial window sill 2, in particular for the outside of a window on which an inventive clamping profile 30 is attached. The clamping profile 30 is arranged here on a left lateral end of the sill 2. On a rear side, the window sill 2 has an upwardly bent upright region 4 or an upstand. In Fig. 2, a cover profile 12 (sliding profile) is additionally pushed onto the clamping profile. Clamping profile 30 and covering profile 12 together form a sill 10 (window sill sliding closure).
3 shows details of the clamping profile 30 according to the invention. The clamping profile 30 comprises a first elongate profile body 31 with a front side 32 which faces the window sill 2 and a rear side 34 facing away from the sill 2. The first profile body 31 is an elongated profile body Rail-like part and includes a cross section along its longitudinal direction substantially constant.
The first profile body 31 has at its rear side 34 a greater height than at its front side 32. In particular, on the rear side in the height direction, preferably approximately perpendicular profile rear wall 52 is provided, from which a profile web 54 toward the front 32nd extends. Above the profile web 54, a free space is formed, for example, for receiving a guide rail of a roller blind. Below the profile web 54 there is a clamping element 62 (second clamping element) which, together with the profile web 54, defines a clamping gap 60 (second clamping gap) for receiving the window sill 2. The profile web 54 extends transversely to the profile rear wall 52 and preferably substantially parallel to the window sill 2.
From the horizontal profile web 54 extends up another profile web 56 (vertical profile web). A (first) clamping element 42 is connected to the vertical profile web 56. The first clamping element 42 serves to clamp a web 24 of the cover profile 12 in a first clamping gap 40.
The clamping element 42 is formed of the same material (hard plastic, in particular ABS), such as the webs 54, 56, which form at least part of a base portion 50 of the first profile body 31. Due to the material thickness, the clamping element 42 is slightly flexible, so that different thicknesses or material thicknesses of the web 24 can be clamped.
Between the parallel webs 54, 56 a groove is formed. The channel forms a water discharge surface 38 for discharging water in the longitudinal direction of the first profile body 31. The clamping element 62 is provided with a defined bending region 64 which has a smaller material thickness (thickness) than a distal region of the clamping element 62 is formed of the same material (hard plastic, in particular ABS), as the webs 54, 56. Due to the defined bending region 64, the clamping element 62 is slightly bendable, so that different thicknesses or thicknesses of the sill 2 can be clamped.
At a distal or outer end face of the profile web 54, which extends substantially along or parallel to the sill 2, a centering lip 70 (front centering lip) is integrally connected to the profile web 54, preferably coextruded. On the rear side 34, in particular on a rear surface of the profile rear wall 52, the first profile body 31 comprises two further centering lips 72 (rear centering lips) which are integrally connected, preferably coextruded, with the profile rear wall 52.
The centering lips 70, 72 are in a neutral position from the profile rear wall 52 and the profile web 54 from. By applying the opposing centering lips 70, 72 to the cover profile 12, the first profile body 31 can be mounted in a centered position relative to the cover profile 12. The arranged on one side centering lips 72 hold the first profile body 31 in a defined orientation relative to the cover 12th
The centering lips 70, 72 are made of rubber or other elastic or soft plastic and are preferably coextruded with the base portion or base portion 50 of the first profile body 31. A particularly preferred material for the centering lips 70, 72 is EPDM or TPE.
Fig. 5 shows the sill 10 with the clamping profile 30 in a neutral or centered position. The centering lips 70, 72 protrude from the base region 50 and in each case touch the cover profile 12.
Fig. 6 shows the window sill end 10 with the clamping profile 30 in a first clamping position in which the centering lip 70 is stretched (bent toward the base region 50). The opposing centering lips 72 are in an untensioned position. The centering lips 72 protrude from the base region 50 and do not touch the cover profile 12.
Fig. 7 shows the window sill 10 with the clamping profile 30 in the second clamping position in which the centering lips 72 are stretched (bent toward the base region 50). The opposite centering lip 70 is in an untensioned position. The centering lip 70 protrudes from the base region 50 and does not touch the cover profile 12.
Overall, the centering lips 70, 72 and the clamping elements 42, 62 are compliant components, while the remaining profile areas, in particular profile rear wall 52 and profile web 54, are firmly connected or attachable (rigid, rigid) components.
Fig. 8 shows the securing of the cover against unintentional release by providing an incision 44 in the clamping element 42. The clamping element 42 thus comprises two clamping parts 46, 48 which are separated by the recess 44 from each other. The web 24 of the cover 12 has a cutout for the front part 46 of the clamping element.
At a longitudinal end of the first profile body 31, a second profile body 80 is arranged and positively connected to the first profile body 31. The second profile body is made of hard plastic, in particular ABS, and comprises a third clamping gap 90 for clamping or clamping the rear upstand 4 of the sill 2. The clamping gap 90 is limited by a clamping element 92. The clamping element 92 has a defined bending region 94, which has a smaller material thickness (thickness) than a distal region of the clamping element 92. Due to the defined bending region 94, the clamping element 92 is slightly bendable, so that different thicknesses or material thicknesses of the upstand or of the Aufkantbereichs 4 of the sill 2 can be clamped.
A window sill closure 10 according to the invention comprises the clamping profile 30 and a covering profile 12 mounted on the clamping profile 30. The covering profile 12 is slidably mounted in relation to the clamping profile 30 and is usually firmly connected to an adjacent building, for example plastered into a window reveal.
The cover profile 12 (Fig. 2) comprises an outer (rear) profile wall 14, an inner (front) profile wall 16 and an upper profile wall 18 and has at least partially a U-shaped cross section. The substantially vertically extending profile walls 14, 16 and the upper profile wall 18 define a receiving space 22, which is open at the bottom. On the inner profile wall 16, a web 24 is formed, which extends from the inner profile wall 16 in the direction of the outer profile wall 14. The cover 12 has in a central region a recess 20 for receiving a guide rail of a shutter (not shown). The recess 20 extends over the upper profile wall 18 and the inner profile wall 16, which is directed towards the window sill 2 out. For example, a roller shutter rail can protrude into the receiving space 22 of the cover profile 12 bounded by the profile walls 14, 16, 18 via the recess or recess 20.
In the assembled state of the window sill 10, the clamping profile 30 is arranged in the receiving space 22. The web 24 is in this case clamped between the clamping element 42 and the horizontal profile web 54. The clamping element 42 in this case pushes the profile web 54 down.
The installation of a window sill closure 10 according to the invention is carried out as follows: First, the clamping profile 30 is attached to the sill 2. Subsequently, the cover 12 is pushed in the longitudinal direction of the clamping profile 30, wherein the centering lips 70, 72 create the profile walls 14, 16 and adjust the position of the cover 12 in the transverse direction or define.
